Join us during Family Fun Day on July 20th as we pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! This service opportunity will take place during Family Fun Day, from 9am until 2pm. If possible, please bring your own items to pack a shoebox (or two) – shoeboxes and other supplies will be provided. Additionally, volunteers are needed to donate items for the shoeboxes. Of course! This event is open to our community, and we would love to have you!

Family Fun Day is a FREE event for our community! If you wish to purchase food from our food trucks and vendors, those items will be available for purchase.

Yes! We will be having family-friendly services at 9AM and 10:30AM. We hope you’ll plan to come for a church service and stay for the rest of the fun we have planned for the day! Our services are intended for the entire family but are geared toward preschool and above. We will be providing childcare for birth to 3 years in our Valley Kids building and also have a Parent Room available if you’d feel more comfortable keeping your younger children with you.

We will have our Valley Kids’ Babies, Ones and Twos rooms open during services for anyone who does not wish to bring their youngest family members to services. Our Valley Kids volunteers are only available during our regular service times (9am and 10:30am); we will not be providing any childcare after services so that our volunteers can enjoy Family Fun Day with their families! 😊
Please note, the childcare is intended only for babies-3 years old; our church services on Family Fun Day are geared toward the entire family and sure to be a great time for ages 3 and up!

While we are praying for nice weather, Family Fun Day is a rain or shine event! Our church services will be something your entire family won’t want to miss, and our activities will be moved indoors, as much as possible. In case of light rain, we will still have our water inflatables up and running! Be sure to subscribe and follow us on social media (CCVvalleykids) to stay up to date on all happenings!

We will have a variety of food trucks available to purchase food and snacks. You are also welcome to pack a lunch for your family and have a picnic during Family Fun Day! The food trucks we currently have are Brick & Blaze Woodfire Pizza, Kona Ice, and DonutNV.

Begin your morning at one of our family-friendly services at 9am and 10:30am. After that, head outside for TONS of fun field games and activities! We will have several giant inflatables, bounce houses, our giant waterside, and games for the whole family! And you might even get a chance to dunk one of your favorite CCV staff members or Valley Kids volunteers! 😉
There will be food trucks and other food available for purchase on site, but please feel free to pack your own “picnic-style” lunch for your family, if you’d like.
And if you are participating in our family service project, Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection or packing event, this is the perfect time to drop off your shoebox (or pick up an empty shoebox to fill and return!) More information on shoeboxes can be found HERE! -
Operation Christmas Child is a shoebox collection/packing event where families get to change the life of a child by providing a shoebox of gifts. Family Fun Day will be taking place both in services and on our fields! There will be water inflatables and other fun activities, so please dress accordingly! Swimsuits are a must for any kids (and adults!) who wish to go on the inflatable water slides! Additionally, please bring towels and sunscreen!

In addition to swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen, please bring chairs and/or blankets to set out on our lawn so you can hang out with friends – umbrellas or small canopies are totally fine, too! You are also welcome to bring anything that will make the day fun for your family – frisbees, outdoor games, balls, etc. (just be sure to label anything you bring!).

Yes! Our family-friendly services will be held in our main auditorium, which is completely handicapped accessible (including parking and restrooms). The majority of the activities will be held in our parking lot and our grassy field area, so please keep that in mind.

A trained security team is present at our special events, as well as a first aid team. Staff and volunteers are trained and provided with communication tools (i.e. walkie talkies, keys, first aid supplies, etc) for appropriate implementation for emergency use.

We would LOVE to welcome your family back next Sunday! Our Sunday services are at 9am and 10:30am. Family Fun Day offered a unique opportunity for children to join adults in our main auditorium; on a typical Sunday, our children’s programs (birth thru 5th grade) meet at the same times in our Valley Kids building.
