Mother-Son Build & Boogie

Get ready for a night packed with fun, creativity, and unforgettable memories at our Mother-Son Build & Boogie! Moms and sons will enjoy dancing the night away with a fun, family-friendly DJ, desserts, prizes, and more! But that’s not all—put your teamwork to the test at our building stations, where you can create and construct together with LEGOs, K’NEX, and hands-on STEM challenges. This is the perfect chance to bond, build, and boogie together while making memories that will last long after the music stops.
Cost is $20 per family and includes all the fun listed above, plus professional photographs! 

Please note, this evening is geared toward boys age 3+ and their mom or any other important figure in their lives, including aunts, grandparents, etc.

FAQs

• Can I attend even if I do not regularly attend CCV?

  Of course! This event is open to our community, and we would love to have you!

• My son doesn’t have a mother/his mother is not available – can he still attend?

  Absolutely! We understand that all family situations are unique, and we welcome your son to attend with any special guest of honor – whether it’s a grandparent, aunt, family friend, or dad. Whatever will make your son feel special and loved is totally okay!

• What should we wear?

  Please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. While dressing up is not required, this is a fun opportunity for boys (and moms/special guests) to wear something a little fancier than they many normally wear. 😉

• My son has food allergies; will there be dessert options for him?

  We will have peanut/tree nut-free options, as well as gluten-free desserts. If you or your child has another allergy concern, please email alishal@ccvlive.com and we will do our best to provide a special treat. Additionally, please feel free to bring something from home if the allergy is severe or there are additional concerns.

• I have a child with sensory/special needs – will they be able to participate?

  All are welcome at our Build & Boogie! Please note, this event will take place in our main auditorium, and will include music and some light effects. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please reach out to Melissa (melissaf@ccvlive.com).

• Will there be food available?

  Yes! We will have a variety of desserts available, along with water and coffee. Peanut and Tree Nut-free and gluten-free options will be available. Please see FAQ regarding allergy concerns for additional information.

• Do you have security on the premises?

  A trained security team is present at all of our special events. Staff and volunteers are trained and provided with communication tools (i.e., walkie talkies, keys, first aid supplies, etc.) for appropriate implementation for emergency use.

• We can’t wait to see photos from the event! Where can we find them?

  We will have photographers capturing our entire event, and those photos will be shared on our Facebook page soon after the event (usually within 24-48 hours)! Please be sure to follow our social media accounts to see all of the amazing photos that will be shared from our event! • We had a great time at the Mother-Son Build & Boogie and can’t wait to visit CCV again; can you tell me more about your church services?

  We would LOVE to welcome your entire family back on Sunday! Our Sunday services are at 9am and 10:30am. Our children’s programs (birth thru 5th grade) meet at the same time in our Valley Kids building. Additionally, our Middle School Ministry (Six78, for 6th-8th grades, meets during 2nd service at 10:30am in the VK building and on Wednesday evenings). Check out more information here and here!
